POSITION SUMMARY: Events and experiences are one of the largest focuses of our Marketing and Events department here at A+O. Our founder has a meticulous vision of how to bring our brand to life and we need an event visionary to execute on it. This position is key to ensuring success in delivery of events as part of the 360-marketing approach and ensuring A+O remains world class when it comes to events and brand experiences. This person will manage all aspects of brand, and retail and wholesale events

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all brand, retail and wholesale events from initial concept through completion
• Partner cross functionally to ensure event success as part of a 360-marketing plan
• Collaborate with dept heads on the conceptualizing of strategic events linked to retail objectives and brand objectives
• Manage budgets, logistics and calendar for all events
• Negotiate with vendors for all events which include sourcing and managing production companies, agencies and vendors to ensure they are meeting the specific guidelines we outline for the event (strategy, creative, budget etc.)
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of events and attract attendance from potential attendees
• Liaise with the Creative team for all marketing material

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of experience in Marketing + Events, preferably in the Fashion industry 
• Think strategically while also being hands on in overseeing the day-to-day execution of all events
• Able to work under tight deadlines and multitask
• Highly attentive to detail
• An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and able to interact with cross functional teams
• Positive, open and approachable
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree

BENEFITS:

• $100,000 - $140,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NY-based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other A+O employees.)
