POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a driven and technically sharp Senior Infrastructure and Network Analyst to play a key role in our growing IT organization. This is a hands-on, high-ownership position where you will be responsible for the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure across our corporate offices, retail locations, warehouses, and international regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infrastructure & Network Operations
• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network and server infrastructure across a distributed portfolio of corporate, retail, and warehouse environments domestically and internationally
• Ensure network uptime, performance, and security across a large multi-site environment encompassing enterprise switching, routing, firewall, and wireless platforms
• Support retail store openings end-to-end, from network design and equipment staging through installation, cutover, and post-launch validation
• Conduct on-site visits for infrastructure maintenance, equipment lifecycle management, and network upgrades as needed
• Maintain data center and network closet standards, including power and physical infrastructure management
• Support and administer enterprise storage environments, including storage area networks and network-attached storage, covering provisioning, volume management, performance monitoring, and capacity planning
Systems, Data Protection & Cloud Services
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including cloud identity, email, collaboration, and security and compliance platforms
• Oversee enterprise backup and data protection strategy, with emphasis on recoverability, resilience, and data integrity
• Oversee file storage lifecycle, including archiving strategies, cloud migration planning, and long-term storage optimization
• Support cloud infrastructure across IaaS and SaaS environments, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and security alignment
Security & Compliance
• Partner with leadership to implement and maintain security controls across network, endpoint, and cloud environments
• Support identity and access management practices including authentication, directory services, and privilege management
• Maintain security documentation and contribute to compliance readiness across relevant frameworks
• Evaluate and integrate security tooling that improves threat visibility, anomaly detection, and policy enforcement
AI Initiatives & Intelligent Automation
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools that reduce operational toil, improve system reliability, and enhance team productivity
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell and intelligent orchestration platforms to streamline repetitive infrastructure tasks
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted monitoring and observability solutions that enable proactive incident detection and faster resolution
• Contribute infrastructure, connectivity, and security requirements in support of the organization’s broader AI adoption roadmap
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess AI readiness and develop infrastructure upgrade roadmaps that support AI workloads at scale
Change Management, Projects & Documentation
• Submit and manage formal change requests in accordance with organizational change management standards
• Plan and execute infrastructure, network, security, and modernization projects from scoping through delivery
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
• Produce regular operational recaps summarizing incidents, project progress, and infrastructure health
• Support global IT initiatives including regional infrastructure and end-user support across international locations
Mentorship & Collaboration
• Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex troubleshooting and technical decision-making
• Mentor and guide IT team members on infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Foster a collaborative, accountability-driven team culture grounded in continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems, and network administration
• Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related directory and identity services
• Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365 across email, collaboration, identity, and compliance workloads
• Solid hands-on background with enterprise networking — including routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and enterprise wireless
• Experience overseeing enterprise backup and disaster recovery programs with a focus on reliability and recoverability
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using one or more languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, with a genuine interest in building solutions that reduce manual effort and scale with the environment
• Experience with enterprise endpoint management platforms, including device enrollment, configuration policy deployment, compliance enforcement, and remote remediation across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms, including virtual machine lifecycle management, resource allocation, snapshots, and high availability configurations
• Disciplined approach to change management, documentation, and operational best practices
• Experience supporting multi-site retail, hospitality, or distributed enterprise environments
• Experience with or curiosity toward AI-assisted tools that improve IT operations, service management, and team productivity
• Experience working with remote monitoring and management platforms and IT service management tools for ticketing, change management, and operational workflows
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot or similar AI productivity platforms within M365
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Azure or M365 certifications, or equivalent)
• Experience with IaaS and cloud networking across major cloud platforms
$90,000 -115,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NY OR NJ - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other A+O employees.)
